Chris Brown Shuts Down His Instagram Account

After leaving Twitter last November when he got into his feud with comedian Jenny Johnson, the notorious R&B singer found himself once again wanting to escape from the virtual world. He shut down his Instagram account Tuesday night, not before posting a message to his 2 million followers. He thanked his loyal fans, dubbed Team Breezy, for all of their support, adding, "But.... Social media takes away the essence of why we are even special or icons. So with that, I'm detaching myself from that world."

The departure from Instagram follows his latest string of negative press. Over the weekend, Chris was reportedly involved in a fight with Grammy nominee Frank Ocean. Recent pics of Chris also show him wearing a cast on his hand. The Los Angeles County Sheriff reported that Frank Ocean is looking to press charges against the 'Dont Judge Me' singer.
